sello. is a curated editorial guide to Punta del Este. We don't cover everything — we choose what's worth it. Every place, every recommendation, every opinion meets a standard that's non-negotiable.
What is sello.
A guide for those who prefer to go with confidence. For first-time visitors who don't want to improvise, and for regulars who want to discover something new.
We select the places worth visiting — restaurants, bars, activities, culture, wellness — and give them our seal with an editorial opinion that says what others don't: what works, what doesn't, when to go, and what to order.

Every place in sello. is backed by more than just an opinion. We analyze real experiences — from people who ate there, who waited at the door, who came back three times or swore never to return. Hundreds of experiences per place, distilled with editorial rigor to tell you what really matters.
We don't rely on a single visit on a good day. We know what always works, what fails when the place is full, and which dish everyone orders for a reason. We know if the service changes between January and March, and if the back table is worth the wait.
That's what gives every sello. its weight: it's not the enthusiasm of a moment. It's the pattern that repeats.
Then, we write. In our own voice, with a point of view, and with the conviction that if a place is here, it's because it earned it.
How the seal works
Not all places are the same, and the seal reflects that. Four levels, each with a clear meaning.
It works. Delivers what it promises without surprises. You'll have a good time, but it won't be the highlight of your trip.
Genuinely good. It has something — a dish, an atmosphere, a detail — that sets it apart. Worth going.
This is where it gets serious. Places that do things with real standards, clear identity, and craft you can feel. You go and want to come back.
